Don’t Waste your Money on personal training

Last night I was in the Gym (ABS Gym Dublin) and was listening to one of our clients saying how he wants to get bigger ,but doesn’t have time to eat.

Obviously we told him that if he wants to get bigger then he simply has to eatĀ and that it wont happen unless he did .

This got me thinking about what people expect when they take up personal training .

Some people decide they need personal training for motivational purposes or they just don’t have a clue where to start and need that kick-start in the right direction.

Then you have the other end of the scale from people who have been training a while and want to take their training and physique to the next level.

unfortunately though there is also the people who think that like most things in life they can just buy personal training and receive the result’s without the work and effort .

Well I have bad news if that’s what you expect !!

Yes personal training can help you and guide you in the right direction and can be very effective , but this is only the case if you are prepared to put in the effort outside the gym as well as inside .

If anything you will have to work twice as hard as before, by changing life habits and changing things in your daily routine that might not be convenient.

And of course this mean’s cutting our the sweet things like chocolate , cake and that other thing called alcohol (90% of the time ) If you’re not willing to make some sacrifices then your simply wasting your money and may as well save it for a liver transplant or gastric band

As a personal trainer I am pre warning anyone who is thinking of getting personal training that paying hard cash is not a quick fix and takes time and dedication from all angles of your life.

Put The work in and live the rest of your life like a champion!!
