BITCH OR BOSS?

There are two types of people in this world. People who are bitches and people who are bossy. Please don’t be offended, but you know it’s true. The bitches are people who don’t say anything when things need to be said or moan and whine about what others have and what they haven’t got. If you want to be a BOSS and not a Bitch then here are a few things I consider to make a person bossy.

MANNING THE FUCK UP

This headline could mean quite a few things, but as I am a personal trainer I will make this one point training related. If you’re a “man” and you have a lovely set of man boobs or have more stretch marks around your waist than a mother with triplets then MAN THE FUCK UP and start lifting weights.Get rid of them man boobs and start building a man’s chest. If you were born a man and you’re not a women trapped in a man’s body then start looking like a man not a heavily pregnant women.

This bring’s me on to my next point.

EXCUSES

” I can’t ” or “It’s to hard” are not good enough. Stop making excuses and start making progress. Do you honestly believe that anything that’s worth achieving is easy and handed to you. Anything that is worth getting means working your bollocks off and getting rid of the excuses.

There is no excuses for an excuse.

CHANGE

If you don’t like something then don’t tolerate it.

Do something about it instead.

For example if you don’t like your job instead of bitching about it every day do something to change your situation.

Good fun job’s don’t knock on your door and say ” hi I’m a good fun job let’s go ”  I left the Army 3 years ago because as I no longer wanted to do that particular job anymore. I had no qualifications and nothing lined up after leaving the army. People said I was stupid and it was risky especially as a recession had kicked in.

If anything It was the opposite.

I knew I had to find something and this forced me in to action and made me more motivated to find a new job and one that I would like. I moved to Ireland and rang people every day looking for a job. I didn’t start personal training straight away and at one stage I was even Ironing people’s cloths to earn a living, 6 months earlier I was in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban.

With persistence I found a job that I like and have no regrets about leaving the Army behind. If I hadn’t had done anything about my situation 3 years ago I still would have been unhappy in my job and bitching and moaning about it.

If you don’t like it change it PERIOD!

BELIEVE

I’m not a religious person (Except when a buy a lotto ticket), but I have to admire people who have religious beliefs. No matter what people say about their religion or what science proves they still believe in their faith. Whether we are religious or not we could all take a leaf from these people who follow god or religion and start believing in ourselves.

If you don’t believe in yourself and what you want to achieve then how is anyone else supposed to believe in you.

INTEGRITY

This one is not something you would normally associate with being BOSSY, But to be truly bossy and respected you need to have integrity. No one likes someone who isn’t honest and doesn’t do the right thing.

If you found a wallet would you find the person who owned it or a phone or piece of jewelry? If you’re a keeper and not a finder then you’re not BOSSY.

Do the right thing and bossness will flow.

SUMMARY

So what is being a boss ? Being a boss is about taking control over your life and achieving your goals. This can be in training or in life.

PS Men wearing skinny jeans is not BOSSY!
